The treatment lasts 15-20 minutes however, prior to the treatment we apply a numbing cream to the area to be treated to decrease discomfort.

Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours after treatment. This will help to prevent further swelling and bruising.
Sleep with your head elevated for 2-3 nights after treatment. This will also help to reduce swelling.
Do not massage the treatment area. This can spread the Kybella and cause more swelling and bruising.
Avoid makeup, sunscreen, and other skin products on the treatment area for 24 hours after treatment. These products can irritate the skin and prolong healing.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 3 days after treatment. These substances can increase swelling and bruising.
Eat a healthy diet and avoid foods high in sugar and sodium. These foods can also contribute to swelling and bruising.
